Public Open Forum: As there were no members of the public present at the meeting, the Chairman closed the open forum.

South Kesteven District Council and Lincolnshire County Council Update: There were no Councillors in attendance at the meeting.

Acceptance and approval of minutes: Minutes from 8th November 2022 meeting were accepted as a true record, the Chairman signed the minutes.

Parish Clerk Update from PC Meeting 8th November 2022

Community Street cleaning: nothing to report.

Speed Monitor: The data continues to show speeding through the village. Parish Clerk awaiting costs from Community Speed Watch team for the equipment to allow local speed watch sessions to be undertaken. However, to do this we will need commitment from a group of people. If anyone is interested in supporting this, please contact the Parish Clerk, via email Edenham.pc@gmail.com

TRS Building Grimsthorpe: The contact at BT/Openreach has changed yet again, they are now looking back at the original request made by the Parish Council and will confirm if the outstanding works can be completed.

Christmas Tree & Carol Singing: The Parish Council would like to thank Grimsthorpe Castle Estate for kindly donating the Christmas tree, Heath & Pam Cranfield for the use of the field, dressing the tree and the refreshments. Thanks also go to the Steam Action members for leading the Carol singing and for providing the Carol sheets. Whilst it was a very cold evening with fewer attendees this did not impact our Carol singing and we hope everyone enjoyed the evening.

General Drainage Main Street Edenham: The flooding and drainage issues were reported to Councillor Martin Hill (November Parish Council meeting), The situation remains the same and during recent heavy rains (Christmas and New Year) both sides of the road near the traffic light’s & Ford cottage were flooded.

New Parish Council Matters:

Dog fouling: Councillor Marshall reported issues with dog fouling on Scottlethorpe Road this has been reported on resident’s driveways, grass verges and local footpaths. The Parish Council would like to remind dog owners that you have a legal duty (Clean Neighbourhoods & Environment Act 2005) to clean up after your dog, this is not only an eyesore, but it can also be a health hazard.

Civility & Respect Certificate: The Parish Council Chairman Mr T Clarke signed the Certificate on behalf of the Parish Council.

Financial Regulations: Councillors to review and approve at the Parish Council Meeting 14th March 2023.

Play Area: Councillor Treacy confirmed that there is nothing new to report.

Planning Matters: There have been no new planning applications. The Parish Council have received, Decision Notices relating to amendments on previously approved planning applications.
